RE: CHEAPER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER!

I have recently learned a very valuable lesson, something that everybody “knows” but doesn’t really think enough about until it happens to them: “Cheaper is not always better!”

I chose to go with a small company this past month when re-shingling my roof and replacing my fascia, because the quote that they had provided me with was the cheapest. I figured I would save myself a couple of bucks....What a mistake! Not only was this company extremely unprofessional, but everything that they put up was installed incorrectly and not to building code.

To make a long story short, I ended up bringing in King Street Roofing to tear down and re-do much of what this other company had installed. The King Street Roofing crew accomplished much more in a shorter period of time and with much better results, and I am very happy with their work.

In hindsight, had I chose to go with King Street Roofing in the first place rather than trying to save that extra few dollars, the job would have been done right the first time and I would not be facing extra expenses in the future for this other company’s short-comings. Saving that extra few dollars meant sacrificing both quality and professionalism, and was certainly not worth the headache. Lesson learned!

I would like to thank Frank Wilson and King Street Roofing for their great work, and I would caution everybody who is looking to have work done on their home to check references, do their research, and remember: Cheaper is not always better!

My husband and I would like to personally thank you and your crew for a fabulous job you did on our roof. We are so very pleased.

We heard of your company through a friend. When we called to have an estimate, it was done the very next day. We were impressed with the thorough package you left behind which included product information, reference letters, and of course the estimate. I had called the next day with a few questions, which your staff kindly answered for me. We had several other companies come out for estimates, however we liked the information you had left behind, liked the prompt service we had received thus far, and we just had a nice vibe about Kingstreet Roofing. Call it gut feeling.

From the time we requested service, our roof was complete within the week. Your company held true to all that was promised. A call the day before, the time in which the crew would arrive, excellent clean-up, and finishing touches. Our roof was not an easy roof by any means…however your crew worked from 8:30am-8:30pm, and then came back the next day to complete a small section. The gentlemen were true professionals! They got down to business right away with clearing some of our belongings out of the way, putting down tarps, setting up equipment and tackling the job at hand. This team really worked well together. We were amazed with the skill, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that was clearly executed with perfection. Your crew obviously takes great pride to ensure that Kingstreet Roofing has satisfied customers upon job completion.

We really can’t say enough how pleased we are with your services. We will certainly recommend your company to others. Your estimate was comparable to other companies, however it was the craftsmanship, professionalism, and care and respect for customer’s property that Kingstreet Roofing provided which sold us. Kingstreet Roofing definitely goes above and beyond. Expectations were certainly exceeded. Thank you.

Dear Frank,

Many thanks for the excellent job you, and your company and staff did in replacing the roof on my home. It was overdue as your inspection pictures indicated. The attractive, larger, lifetime shingles are not only multi layered for durability but present a textured look to enhance the appearance of the home.

Your crew was diligent in their duties and courteous in their behavior. It was a messy job to remove the old shingles, cut and fasten the under-lay, roofing units and place vents and flashing where needed. I appreciated the work on the gutters and downspouts to insure the removal of all water away from the building. The careful clean-up of the property at completion was exceptional.

I would readily recommend your roofing services to one and all. In my mind there are none better.
